1 Act
Like it: You are who you think you are
So choose one characteristic or practice that you want to
change; for instance, negativity. Promise yourself that for one week you will
act like you are a positive, upbeat person.
Try to say what a positive individual would say, do what he/she
would do, and act how he/she would act. Initially, it may feel weird and
forced, but hey! If you stay with it, you will discover that by the end of the
week you really feel more positive.
2 Age is
just a number: again you are what you think
When we let our age command our lives we lose out on a lot
of chances and do things even when our heart isn't in it. For example, a man of
18 only 100 years ago was considered old , a poor soul likely destined to a
life of isolation and poverty.
Maybe it's time to stop acting your age, and start acting
and conduct yourself the way you feel. If you feel old, maybe you should work
on your mind-set! BUT IF NOT THEN YOU GOTTA ACT LIKE A KID!
3
Aerobic activities: Get out and do something
Fun can result from natural aerobic activities and from
exercises that follow the body's natural movements-like walking, jogging,
swimming, hiking, the inch-step. Ordinary aerobics rejoices the body and its
structure.
When you nurture a playful attitude towards your exercise,
your concentration and physique will move with liquid flexibility to a state of
quiet, humming vitality.
4
Amiability
The happiest folks are those who are able to avoid constant conflicts,
let go of hatreds and consequently build close relationships. But being pleasant
doesn't mean being a doormat. It means trying to be amiable and understanding
others' points of view.
If you already consider yourself agreeable but still have a
hard time getting close to others, you need to examine your trust level-another
thing that has been found to be closely linked with happiness .
Try to point out good intentions to people and assume that
they are being nice to you as they are thoughtful, not because they are scheming.
· Italian: They applied a paste made of the white of an egg,
rosemary and powdered milk on the face to erase telltale lines.
· Spanish: They used to rub lemon juice on their face at
night.
· English women dropped belledona herb juice in their eyes
to enlarge their pupils.
· Egyptians: They heated a lotion of lanolin, castor oil and
glycerine mildly until blended together and then let it cool. It was applied to
acne and pimples.
· Persians: They applied onion poultice on their face at
night to remove freckles, acne and pimples
6 Breaking the rules
One of the unassuming ways to get new concepts is to see
what thoughts have already been thought of, and then modifying them to derive new
ideas.
"Breaking the rules" method tests the rules set
for something, to derive with something else. To be artistic, you ought to know
that what is thought to be impossible is not at all times the case.
It is about getting over labels and messing with things that
others have not thought of, are apprehensive about considering, picking instead
to ape the tried and tested than experiment.
